This term was borrowed from the late 1950 and early 1960s when fear that Atomic bomb testing over Arizona was "changing" the climate in the direction of a new Ice Age. Let this be food for thought.

Ford Assembly Plant In Brazil

This post came to me as an email from a friend. I rarely post emails, but in this case, since the topic is so very current, I'm breaking my own rule.

"Do not be fooled into thinking that Ford, GM, and Chrysler are going to go under. They will survive , but their assembly operations in the US likely won't -- whether we provide a bailout or not.

"And keep in mind that a huge percentage of the cars sold in the USA are made in the USA today -- not just by Ford, GM, and Chrysler -- but by Toyota , Honda, and many of the rest. They are built by American workers and they are being profitable. Why, you must ask? Because they are non-union operations and do not have the UAW hanging around their necks like large ship anchors.

Geert Wilders in Jerusalem “The Jihad against Israel is the Jihad against the West.”

Andrew Bostom, posted this not long, but not short either, speech on his blog today, December 14, 2008. The speech was given by Geert Wilders, seen in the picture above, who was the creator of the short documentary concerning the Islamification of the EU (Europe) entitled "Fitna". Most of us will remember it since it had spread like wild fire this last summer after it had been banned and taken down from Google and YouTube: it's back on both sites now. The ban had been, as I remember, a knee jerk reaction to Jehadist personal threats on the personnel at the two sites as well as global mayhem.

It was the Aish.com and IsraelNationalNews.com (INN, aka Arutz 7) web sites that finally took up the gauntlet and posted the short documentary. It rocked the Internet around the world. Now, Geert Wilders gave a speech in Jerusalem at the invitation of MK, Dr.Arieh Eldad, now chairman of the Hatikvah party in Israel. This was a forum on the new effort by Hatkivah to counter the Israeli left in regard to the true danger that Islam represents to Israel: not an issue of land, but of ideology and demography.

The Case for Skepticism on Global Warming’

This issue may have already drooped dead in the water given the present world economic concerns and "bail outs", but on January 25, 2005, Michael Crichton - author of Jurassic Park et al - gave a major address to the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. regarding his criticisms of the so called "global warming" scenarios. the Eternal Jew - German Nazi Propaganda Video

Palin Glows While Biden Lies His Butt Off

The Vice Presidential Debate between Biden and Palin, will be seen as a win for whichever candidate the viewers supports and as influenced by the punsters afterwords on the channels or stations they tuned to.

The reality is that while Biden is the "Old Pro", he hasn't changed his style much, even after being coached by his party handlers, he shot from the hip at least 22 times and counting. While Palin also made some errors, she had to come by the information as a student and not as one who lived throuugh much of the facts as seen from Washington. Biden on the other hand has been in the Senate for over 35 years and should be familiar with the FACTS as a matter of routine.

Here are three separate lists of lies and errors that both Biden and Palin made. Make a numbers list for yourself and see who made the most lies by a long shot. Also determine for yourself who has been shown to be the "quick learner".

‘Obama Better for Israel than McCain' in the Long Run?

this is rather amusing: it's the battle between two of Conservative Media's titans as to whether McCain or Obama would be best for the U.S., Israel and the World.

The article lays out the position of "columnist and WorldNetDaily founder Joseph Farah" (very conservative) in support for Obama, and "Caroline Glick, celebrated Jerusalem columnist and now managing editor of The Jerusalem Post", who "strongly supports McCain".

The arguments between these two titans is most interesting, and MOST UNUSUAL. those of you who remember the Carter years will especially get a surprise out of this.

ADL Condemns Evangelical Conversion Drive

In a statement issued by the ADL's "national director Abraham H. Foxman and ADL director of interfaith policy Rabbi Eric J. Greenberg' to JPost, we read that "The New York-based Anti-Defamation League on Sunday denounced a call by a Canadian-based international evangelical Christian organization to target European Jews for conversion, calling it a "serious affront to the Jewish people" and "disrespectful" to Judaism........

"To issue this declaration from Berlin, where the Nazis directed their Final Solution to exterminate the Jewish people, is the height of insensitivity."

I don't think that anything has really changed within these Christian groups except that the lines of demarcation are being more clearly drawn. We must be able to differentiate between these groups and treat them accordingly.

Criminals On The Bench

Interestingly enough, this post by Obadiah Shoher on Samson Blinded (fast becoming one of my favorite bloggers), goes to the heart of a phenomena that is not just Israeli. In California, the Bench recently also forgot its job description and trampled on the democratic rights of its resident citizens. Most reading this blog surely know what I'm talking about.

In any case, to give you a taste of this short post, here is some of what Shoher posted: "Justice Minister Friedmann’s efforts at reforming the Supreme Court are not the usual bureaucratic squabble but the most important political shift since the right-wing Likud came to power in 1977." ...because despite that shift in 1977 the "leftists continued to rule the country through law enforcement" (courts/police) and media."

I just read this most interesting post on the Samson Blinded blog. the author, Obadiah Shoher states the following:

Random House’s Fear of Muslim Violence Trumps Free Speech

"Random House wimped out and chose to go back on its agreement with an author because of the warnings of some academics. Better to protect their own hides than to promote free and open discourse.....

As a result, Random House pulled the book from publication and broke the contract with the author. The book, "The Jewel of Medina by Sherry Jones, a fiction novel about A’isha, Muhammad’s youngest bride" is now pending new publication.

On WorldNetDaily I found this article that starts off stating that "Food workers at the Shelbyville, Tenn., plant for Tyson Foods, which boasts on its corporate website that it strives "to honor God," will have time off for Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday closing the month of Ramadan, instead of the American tradition Labor Day."

Take note: out of a 1,200 work force at the plant, Muslims represent 700 in number. This should have been expected since it appears that whenever Muslim numbers reach 40% and over, they feel quite comfortable in making Islamic demands.

The Arava Valley of Peace Project

This is a very entertaining Israeli propaganda video promoting and extolling the creation of a connecting waterway between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea. The project is seen as the only way to prevent the Dead Sea from living up to its name, while and at the same time promoting self-sustaining commerce and tourism on both the Jordanian and Israeli side of the border. The project is very much akin to our very own Saint Lawrence Seaway between Canada and the United States, but with a more tropical-like, futuristic, touristy flair.

Obama Gives Final Burial to 'Undivided Jerusalem' Statement

As per a CNN Interview, Obama.....Confesses that his statement to AIPAC concerning his wish for a UNITED, JEWISH Jerusalem was a “SYNTAX” mistake, which he and his campaign “immediately tried to correct”: YEA, AFTER the lie was already out there from the horse's mouth to the hundreds at the AIPAC conference, and to the whole of the Jewish world via the Jewish media.

He not only got a standing ovation from the hundreds that he was addressing, but he got precisely what this kind of political snafu ("mistake") is intended to produce: the solidification of most of the AIPAC membership vote this coming November.

So, does one believe the original false statement (as per his confession), or do we believe the subsequent mia-culpa and re-write?
