Copenhagen Had Three Levels of Control?

"Copenhagen was not about global warming but money. The cash that Hillary Clinton (pictured left) so dramatically plonked on the table, rising to $100 billion by 2020, which includes the £1.5 billion offered by Gordon Brown (money which of course he hasn't got) and which like a crazed gambler he last week upped to £6 billion (even more money he hasn't got), was merely a "sweetener" to persuade the developing countries to maintain the money-machine set in motion by Kyoto."

These words are out of the Telegraph in the UK but quoted in The Daily Bell. It's the intro to an analysis of the Copenhagen event that goes below the surface of what is reported in the regular media - perhaps with a purpose. Americans and Canadians are not going to like the conclusion of this analysis. But to read it, go HERE.

So, which is it Copenhagen? .......

Global warming or Global Cooling? (Those of us awake and alert during the 70's should remember the "Global Cooling" scare by the same segment of scientists and politicians that are declaring that the "frying pan is hot", and getting hotter). Or is it neither? Hmm?

Well the link below will take you to a video which contradicts what Al Gore wants us all to believe: that there isn't anything to debate. That the "facts" are all in and indisputable. That the debate is SHUT. After all, he did invent the Internet, didn't he?

Enough said. If you want more options concerning the topic, make time or segments of time, to watch this 81 min. (1hr. 21min) presentation of the scientists who don't agree that whatever "global warming" (if it is happening) is man made or induced.

New Health Care Deal - They're On the Run

In this article, Conservative analyst, Dick Morris, states the following: "First, a brief congratulations to all on having seemingly killed the public option. Without our efforts, it would be en route to becoming law. Now there will not be a government owned, government run and government subsidized insurance company that will put all others out of business."

"But the current proposal Reid is loudly trumpeting.....has all of the old flaws (minus the public option) in that the government, through the Secretary of Health, will decide who gets what treatment at what cost."

If you think this issue might strike hard at your purse strings, you're right. Read Dick Morris' preliminary analysis HERE.

You won't be sorry you did.

A must see video!

I just go this from a friend with the following posting:

"I received this outstanding incredibly satisfying and motivating web video from my long time Barbershop friend Larry Gassman who along with his twin brother John have been blind from birth and an inspiration to myself and everyone who has ever met either of them. This has nothing to due with being a USC fan (which I am) but what a little encouragement and love can do for anyone."

ClimateGate - A Scandal

So, where have I been for three months? I'm sure you all have been asking: yea, right!

Since you asked, I tell you. I've been to Toronto, Canada and back. Went there for a Bris, and it turned out to be two girls instead. Either my friend in Toronto was doing some heavy wishful thinking (and praying), or the doctors made a big mistake.

On the return trip, I was a bit under the 'Jet lag' umbrella both literally and politically. I just haven't been able to muster the energy to post anything since it all looks so bad on the political stage that is.

The above was true until I ran across the linked to article below that a friend's email led me to. I read it and realized that no one is telling the story: SO!!!
Here it is if you care to read beyond what the regular media wants you to.

Here goes:

"12 Days, 3 Networks and No Mention of ClimateGate Scandal
President Obama will be at the climate change summit in Copenhagen next week, but the network morning and evening news shows continue to ignore leaked e-mails that suggest ‘manipulation’ of climate data and other unethical behavior by alarmist scientists." Read about the British University that's involved up to its you know what in this one by clicking on link HERE.

Innovation Tax

"Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies Fee. Under this proposal, an annual fee of $2.3 billion would be imposed on the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector beginning in 2010. The fee would be allocated by market share.

"Medical Device Manufacturers Fee. Under this proposal, an annual fee of $4 billion would be imposed on the medical devices manufacturing sector beginning in 2010. The fee would be allocated by market share.

"Clinical Laboratories Fee. Under this proposal, an annual fee of $750 million would be imposed on clinical laboratories beginning in 2010. The fee would be allocated by market share, except for small businesses.

"Regardless, the talking points are a strong signal to life sciences innovators that the health care reform dialogue in Washington is heading in a direction that will directly harm innovation......" and "we can be sure that this will contribute to increasing costs of healthcare, contrary to the national objective.

"However, from every possible perspective, this proposal is a zero-sum gain to the Federal government, and a raw deal being offered to innovators in life sciences."

The Peasants Are Revolting

"Elites in politics, journalism discover that people have the power and the world is changing."

So says Dan Gainor at:
The Boone Pickens Free Market Fellow
Business & Media Institute
8/19/2009

"The Internet revolution is inflaming political activists and politics may never recover. It’s less messy than the guillotine, but the tech rebellion is severing ties with old media just as cleanly.

"The new tools enable voters of both sides to speak out and organize more easily. Whichever side is in power will discover that opposition can form even when the media ignore an issue."
